Telford have struck a deal with Rushall boss Holleran that guarantees the ex-Walsall and Lincoln man will start in every game during his time at the club.

"We've agreed the deal with Rushall Olympic but he won't be going until Friday because we've got a reserve game on Thursday first (at home to Redditch) and he will feature for us in that," Bucks chief Rob Smith revealed.

"It's all agreed in principle and the paperwork should go through on Friday.

"He'll be going for 28 days and there won't be any recall. He'll get five or six games, and that's just what he needs - and what he wouldn't be getting with us at the moment.

"I hope he can come back here and have a part to play. We're a striker short with Justin (Marsden) out injured, so it's an ideal chance for him."

Meanwhile, Smith moved to further distance himself from the derogatory comments made about his side by Gainsborough boss Paul Mitchell after the Bucks' 2-1 victory on Saturday.

Mitchell claimed the Telford performance had been a "diabolical act of thuggery" - comments which Telford will be referring to the FA - but Smith has now reviewed the match DVD and feels his side showed great restraint.

"I watched it last night and I was astonished by what I saw," he said. "Most of what went on was on the other side to me and they were constantly scything our lads down and pushing and prodding.

"I only saw two bad challenges from our players - one by Matty Lewis in the corner and Justin's challenge on the keeper, which I definitely think was a yellow card.

"Our lads kept their discipline unbelievably well and they were an absolute credit. I'll be telling them that at training tonight."
