Defender Jimmy Turner is to become the second AFC Telford United player to go under a surgeon's knife this summer.
Turner will have a clean-up operation on his troublesome knee and ankle on Tuesday, following on from fellow centre-back Asa Charlton who had a double hernia operation last month.
But boss Rob Smith is confident both will make full recoveries in time to join their team-mates for the start of pre-season training on June 28.
"Jimmy's just having an ankle and knee clean up and he should return on schedule," said Smith.
"Asa Charlton had a double hernia operation a week ago.
"That's one that's really rather nasty for a week or so after, but then he should get better quickly.
"Within two weeks he should be fine and he should be okay for the start of pre-season too.
"He carried that problem for all of last season and it will be good for him to get it sorted and come back fighting fit."
Smith also delivered positive reports on the injuries being carried by new skipper Stuart Whitehead (ankle ligaments), wing-back Simon Forsdick (knee ligaments) and midfielder Gary Fitzpatrick (foot).
Whitehead returned to action in time for the play-offs but then limped off with a fresh injury in the semi-final first leg at Barrow and has made an early start in his battle for fitness.
"Stuart Whitehead is already training every day with a personal programme," Smith revealed.
"He's working hard and he knows this is a big year for him.
"Fozzie (Forsdick) has fully recovered now, and so has Gary Fitzpatrick.
"I don't want to be carrying any injuries into next season - I want all 19 players fighting fit and raring to go.
"It would be nice not to get any injuries all year, but I really think we've got the squad to cope with whatever happens.
"We've got strength and ability there, now."
