Chairman Lee Carter believes there are enough "strong characters" in the AFC Telford United hierarchy to ensure the club emerges from their current rut.
The Bucks have made an uncertain start to their Blue Square North campaign and, despite lying just six points off top, criticism has risen in the wake of damaging defeats to Northwich and Alfreton.
But Carter insists unity and confidence are the key to ensuring results take a turn for the better.
"The big thing for me is that we have to go about our work confidently," he said.
"We have got some very good players who are very low on confidence. If you could buy confidence, it is the first thing I would go out and do.
"This club has got as far as it has on a strong sense of unity and we need that now.
"We are got very strong characters on the Board and the management team and that will shine through."
Carter insists the determination to drive the club forward remains as strong as ever.
Plaudits
"It is all well and good taking the plaudits and the pats on the back when things are going well - we also have to take the 'pelters' when they are flying about," he added.
"But it will not distract us from the focus of what we are trying to do and that is push this football club forward.
"Some people try to say that the relationship between the management team and Board isn't good and that's not the case.
"Some people try to say the Board haven't backed the manager and that's not the case.
"Some people try to say therre are splits in the dressing room and that's not the case.
"We are still a great football club, with a good football team, with a good management team and, I would like to think, a reasonable chairman.
"We will all stick together and come through this."
