Shropshire cooker manufacturer Aga has seen a fall in revenues in the first half of the year as slack consumer spending took hold.
Aga, which has manufacturing bases in Ironbridge and Ketley, today gave its trading update ahead of its half year interim results. It made go-od operating profits, despite UK consumer spending falls and achieved record export sales.
Net cash was in excess of its £22.4m of a year ago.
Chief executive William McGrath said: "In the current market we are pleased with our performance."
