A final decision on whether to build a Tesco supermarket in Tenbury Wells will not be made until the new year, council chiefs said today.
Plans to build the superstore on the town's former cattle market have been delayed while planning officials at Malvern Hills District Council await further details from Tesco, according to the authority's leader Councillor Phil Grove.
He said the issue would now not be considered until January at the earliest but added no timescale had been confirmed for when a decision will be made.
