William A Lewis now owned by Greenhous

Motor group Greenhous has taken over a county car dealership, securing more than 120 jobs.

The Greenhous group has bought the assets of car dealership William A Lewis, which has garages in Featherbed Lane, Shrewsbury, and Stafford Park, Telford, for an undisclosed sum.

Greenhous, which already has seven dealerships across the Midlands selling Vauxhall, VW Commercials and DAF Trucks, will now add a number of manufacturers including Nissan, Renault, Toyota, Volvo, Dacia and MG to its portfolio.

Derek Passant, chief executive of Greenhous, said: "We are pleased to announce the purchase of the assets of William A Lewis and would like to thank the previous owners for their helpful assistance in enabling us to complete the transaction in a smooth and professional manner. "
