Dashing Dogs, based in Aston Street, Wem, has been running for six years, but is up for sale along with the business unit for a total of £50,000.

Owner Sam Milestone, 24, has decided to sell the business and shop unit ahead of the arrival of her first child in September.

She said: "I've decided to take a bit of time out when the baby is born. The business is all set up and ready to go for the new owner."

Ms Milestone worked at a boarding kennel for four years before deciding to set up her own businesses and start a dog grooming course.

She added: "I have been still taking bookings but am extremely busy at the moment and I'm planning on finishing in August.

"Unfortunately I'm not doing large breeds of dogs at the moment because I am not able to lift them. I have said to people that if they are willing to stay and just help lift in and out of bath and the dog is well behaved then we can work round this."

The business offers dog grooming, clipping, handstripping, nail clipping, bathing and drying and caters for a wide range of dogs.

The self-contained ground floor unit is on the market with Halls for £40,000 while the dog grooming business itself has a guide price of £10,000 and is available to purchase by separate negotiation.

The property has a net sales area of 226 square feet with ancillary accommodation and could be used for a variety of things subject to planning consent.

Anyone who would like to view the unit should contact Halls on (01743) 450700.
