Shrewsbury restaurant closes after three years
A Shrewsbury town centre restaurant has shut down after three years of trading.
Eat Up, which was based in Shearman Hall in Milk Street, Shrewsbury, has closed due to family reasons.
The decision was taken by the restaurant's management earlier this month.
In a statement on their Facebook page, owner Brian Taylor said: "This post comes with a very heavy heart.
"We have had to make the very sad decision to close our doors.
"Sometimes in life you have to do the right thing for your family and their welfare.
"Eat Up was our hopes and dreams and you all made that happen. So we thank you immensely for your support over these past three years.
"We couldn't have ran Eat Up without our amazing team.
"All of you have a special place in our hearts and we will never forget."
