10 new jobs at Telford Pizza Hut after £485,000 facelift
Ten jobs will be created at a fast food restaurant that is undergoing a £485,000 facelift to improve access for customers.
Pizza Hut on Telford Bridge Retail Park is due to reopen next week after shutting its doors for the major refurbishment programme last month.
Bosses at the premises have revealed that the work is on track and the revamped site will reopen on Wednesday.
A total of £485,000 has been spent on carrying out the improvements at the 132-seater restaurant.
Manager Lucy Winwood said: "We are doing a total revamp with a whole new look. Everything has been ripped out.
"We previously had a raised level, but that is now gone and we now have one level to better accommodate customers using wheelchairs and pushchairs.
"The kitchen has had a refit, there are new windows, furniture, a new door and new signage outside, a new menu and it's being decorated."
"We will shortly be looking to recruit 10 additional staff to take our numbers up to 38."
