Newport's Aldi shutting for renovation 15 months after it opened
A supermarket in Newport has closed for renovations – 15 months after it opened.

Aldi on Audley Avenue will close on Saturday for improvements and will reopen on November 24.
The store opened its doors to customers in August 2015.
Residents have spoken with annoyance about the closure, but Aldi said it was essential to improve the store.
An Aldi spokesman said: "Our Newport store will be closed from 8pm on November 19 and will reopen at 8am on November 24 while we make some changes to the layout to enhance our customers' shopping experience."
