Shropshire Star launches Kindle Fire app
Readers can enjoy the Shropshire Star in more ways than ever before with the launch of a new app for Kindle Fire users.
Following the success of its apps for iPad, iPhone and Android, the Shropshire Star has launched a new app for Kindle Fire devices.
With a separate service available for desktop users, the county's number one local newspaper is now available on all the leading online platforms.
Kindle Fire users can try out the app with a two-week free trial simply by downloading it from the Amazon Store.
The app's page-turning technology allows users to read as it appears on the printed page. Editions of the Shropshire Star are available to subscribers within minutes of publication.
What's more, once an edition is available you can download it to read anywhere, even when you're offline. The Kindle Fire app, which costs from £1.49 a week, joins the Shropshire Star app for iPad, iPhone and Android plus a desktop edition for PC and laptop users.
MNA Media head of digital Will Beavis said: "The Kindle Fire app meets the high standard of service which online subscribers enjoy across all the devices."
