Staff have nicknamed the young pair of pygmy goats Rhubarb and Custard as they arrived into the world last weekend.

They were born on Saturday morning at the pets corner at the Owl and Falconry Centre in Bobbington, near Bridgnorth. It comes just four days after another pygmy goat was born and called Guinness to the joy of staff.

About 22 different types of birds of prey, such as owls, falcons and hawks are kept at centre in Tom Lane.

The centre hosts hawk walks and basic falcon-handling sessions located within the popular centre, which is on the same site as the Halfpenny Green Vineyard.

Volunteer manager John Hollins said they were thrilled with the new arrivals.

He said: "All the staff are delighted they have been born, especially as they are twins."

He added: "The centre is continuing to develop and offers its services to schools and education centres."

Daily flying displays are held and the centre is open seven days a week from 11am to 4pm depending on weather conditions.

Fellow volunteer Marion Taylor added the goats had proved a hit with staff. She said: "They are adorable and are energetic. It is lovely to have twins."

A pygmy goat is a breed of miniature domestic goat., which tend to be kept as pets.

The centre is run entirely by volunteers and is a non-profit making organisation.

All monies received goes towards the upkeep of the site and care of the animals. It first opened its doors at Easter 2012.

The birds of prey area was developed during the same year and continued throughout 2013.
