The Whitchurch youngster wowed judges with his slick moves to win the BDO Street Dance Championships.

It is the second time Jack has won a prestigious competition after he finished first in the regional qualifier for the UDO World Street Dance Championships last year.

Jack, who goes to Whitchurch Infants School, will now compete at the UDO World Street Dance Championships in Glasgow in August.

Steve, his father, said: "He loves entertaining, singing and dancing. He is not bothered how many people he performs in front of. At the moment he wants to be a professional dancer but that will probably change 100 times during his time at school.

"He took to dancing himself. We went on holiday a couple of years ago and walked into a karaoke bar. He said he wanted to have a go so he started singing and dancing.

"When we came back off holiday we got him in at a dance school so he could have lessons and things have escalated from there.

"In the regional qualifier for the UDO World Street Dance Championships he came first out of about 20 kids in his category. In the BDO Street Dance Championships at the weekend in Stoke-on-Trent he came first out of about 11.

"He has done really well and is now looking forward to taking part in Glasgow in August."

Mr Price said his son remains keen to feature on hit television show Britain's Got Talent, despite two failed attempts so far. He added: "He was coming up to five when he auditioned for the first time.

Despite not getting through they told him to keep coming. He will keep going until he gets on that stage."
