The River Severn veers into the distance in this stunning aerial image of Ironbridge - captured by a flying drone.

Carl Harrison, 42, from Leegomery, Telford, took the fantastic shot on a hill behind Ironbridge.

It shows the Iron Bridge, the River Severn and the Ironbridge Power Station all in one image, something not usually able to be captured.

It was submitted to our 'Say Shropshire' Star Witness gallery and really does capture one of the iconic landmarks in the county.

Mr Harrison, who works as a photographer, said: "I wanted to go somewhere where I could test out the drone safely and get some good pictures.

"I shot the drone up about 300ft up into the air and managed to get the shot, which I think is great, and is unusual."
