Fresh-faced comedian Russell Kane, one of the most hotly tipped acts at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and host of BBC Radio 2's Out To Lunch, has just embarked on his first ever national tour.
Gaping Flaws, his critically-acclaimed stand-up show which earned him a spot on the shortlist for Edinburgh's highest accolade, will be making an eagerly-anticipated stop at Oakengates Theatre on Monday, March 9 at 8pm.
Kane has firmly established himself as a rising star of the comedy scene and recently appeared on BBC One's Live at the Apollo show.
The past 12 months have proved a roaring success for the comedian, who also received his second if.comedy Award nomination for his third sell-out Edinburgh show.
Last year he was invited by the Royal Shakespeare Company to perform his four-hander Fakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon and has presented on Big Brother's Big Mouth, as well as filming a series of state-side travelogues and celebrity interviews for Five US.
