Cabaret fun to hit stage
Arts Alive is bringing theatre company Trifle Gathering to Bishop's Castle this month.

Its show Charity Shop Cabaret, a mixture of cutting-edge theatre and surreal comedy, features a journey into Elspeth Garter's charity shop, a welcoming world of rummage and romance, jumble and joy, bingo and the bizarre.
Not having had a customer for eight months, Elspeth and her volunteers fill their days with dance routines, tea ceremonies and absurd frugal tips for frugal times - all set to the classic sounds of their vintage vinyl resident DJ.
The show at SpArC in Bishop's Castle on March 27 starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets can be booked by calling (01588) 630321.
