Michelle Morgans, spokeswoman for the RAF Museum Cosford, said: "They were here for a few hours filming inside the Hercules and it all went very well. We do get film crews here on a fairly regular basis."

Our Girl tells the story of Molly Dawes, the eldest of five children, who has a difficult father and a mother who always wanted more for her. The drama tells Molly's story as she becomes a soldier in the Royal Army Medical Corps, heading off to Afghanistan.

Speaking about her new role, Miss Turner, who starred as Stacey Slater in EastEnders for five years, said: "I am so excited to be a part of Our Girl. It is a beautifully written drama of one girl's journey through life."
