With just four weeks left until the Osfest, Break for the Border event, on May 24 to 27, there are less than 1,000 tickets left and festival goers are being warned not to lose out by leaving it too late to apply. The announcement that headline band JLS are splitting up is seeing fans rushing to ensure they see them before they part company.

Carly Jackson from Osfest said: "Ticket sales have gone through the roof since the surprise JLS announcement and we are still well on track to sell out."

The event kicks off with the DJ Party Night on May 24 and continues with live music on two stages throughout the weekend.

This year will see a big top erected on the Park Hall Showground to ensure festival goers keep dry whatever the weather. Last year's Sunday concert was hit by massive rain storms. Acts this year include JLS, James Arthur, Wiley, Lawson, The Pigeon Detectives, A.M.E, Lucy Spraggan and others as well as a wealth of local talent.
