The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture in Berriew is holding an arts festival until September 8 – The Image.

It features both traditional exhibits and a film programme – including a live performance in the image by Yoko Ono collaborator Bishi – presented in the circular projection dome known as The Igloo.

The nine-metre diameter dome has been created by Craven Arms-based Igloo Vision.

It stands next to the Andrew Logan Museum and features material created for 360 viewing by Plymouth University, as well as local shorts and evening feature films.

Artist Andrew Logan, said: "Attenders at the festival can literally find themselves immersed within The Image – an incredible experience we hope no-one will forget.

"This year's theme allowed us to widen our scope and bring yet more inspirational work to Berriew.

"We're all extremely excited about the programme and the calibre of work that can be experienced in the village over the festival period."

Festival organiser, Amanda May added: "The Igloo is central to this festival as it encapsulates Andrew's love of light and sense of fun, it adds a new dimension to our festival and to the creativity we are celebrating. This is an event that truly celebrates the arts and truly offers something for all the family."
