Rylan Clark to launch Shrewsbury Buttermarket's X Factor gig season
Celebrity Big Brother winner Rylan Clark will launch a series of exclusive X Factor gigs at a Shropshire nightclub, it was announced today.
The singer, who shot to fame after appearing on the talent show in 2012, has agreed to launch the X Factor Season at The Buttermarket in Shrewsbury.
He will be joined by some of the X Factor "boot camp" contestants from this year's series when the gigs begin on October 19.
The venue confirmed in August that it had secured a deal with bosses of the ITV1 show which means each finalist will play the venue shortly after being voted off the programme. It follows the club hosting performances by last year's contestants, including Union J, Jahmene Douglas and winner James Arthur.
The full details of the Rylan Clark X Factor Season Launch Party will be announced after this weekend's TV show when the judges reveal their finalists.
