Factories from across Telford have donated the pallets and volunteers have been building the giant pyre ready for tomorrow's firework show at the Broad Oak Playing Fields.

Around 12,000 people from across the county are expected at the event tomorrow night, when the bonfire will be lit at 7pm.

Organisers say they hope that this year will be another big success.

Jennifer Mitchell said: "We're hoping if the weather keeps fine we should get a good turnout.

"We're expecting about the same as last year. This year's display will be brilliant. I would like to thank all the factories for donating the pallets, they have been very helpful and very good about it."

The fun fair at the bonfire will open at the site on the Broad Oak Playing Fields on Wellington Road at 5pm, before the lighting of the bonfire, followed by the display at 8.30pm. Admission to the event is free.
