Huge crowds enjoy Ironbridge heritage day
Thousands of people descended on the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution for a festival held to celebrate Shropshire's World Heritage Site.

The town was a hive of activity during the 10th Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Festival with heritage talks and walks, a craft and food market, live street entertainment and family activities.
The free event, supported by Telford & Wrekin Council, took place with the famous Iron Bridge as its backdrop.
It was designed to be a celebration of the area's designation as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986.
