Shrewsbury's pantomime is on course to break every box office record set at the town's Theatre Severn.

Peter Pan opens tomorrow and is already on course to sell more tickets and generate more cash than any other show ever staged at the venue.

Venue boss David Jack said: "The message is a simple and honest one – get your tickets now because they are going fast. You are guaranteed a really enjoyable family show."

Theatre Severn's pantomime has featured many of the same actors for the past four years – and they've all become hugely popular in Shrewsbury.

Mr Jack said: "It's almost like an in-house company and the people have learned to trust us."

Peter Pan will run at Theatre Severn from tomorrow until January 11 and will be led by Panto Dame, Brad Fitt.
