Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge returning to Shrewsbury Flower Show
Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge will be returning to Shropshire for this year's Shrewsbury Flower Show, it was announced today.
"Tom will be cooking up a storm in the foodhall on the August 14 and 15, enlightening and entertaining the visitors with his unique take on classic British food," said show organisers.
Shropshire Horticultural Society secretary Simon Badrock said 'Having Tom Kerridge at the 2015 Flower Show continues our aim of bringing top chefs to Shrewsbury. He is a great personality and no doubt his passion for good food and great discussion will be a huge success in the Foodhall as 2014."
This year, Tom's latest TV project has been to take on BBC2's flagship cookery show Food and Drink.
Kerridge is chef patron at the two Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers pub in Marlow, Essex. His BBC2 series Proper Pub Food became a huge overnight success and he has also appeared on BBC2 Best Ever Dishes as well as Market Kitchen, MasterChef the Professionals, Saturday Kitchen and has competed and won the main course twice on BBC2's Great British Menu.
