Shropshire pub is Good Enough for Dodgy's concerts
Dodgy rose to prominence during the heady days of Britpop – and now use a pub in Shropshire as a warm-up venue before they play their biggest gigs.
The band is best known for its hits Staying Out for the Summer, If You're Thinking Of Me and Good Enough – the latter its biggest chart success, reaching number four in 1996.
But the band's performance at the Four Crosses pub in Bicton, near Shrewsbury, last night wasn't the first it has done at that venue.
Steve Roberts, the general manager of the pub, said: "We got to know Dodgy through a local plumber named Elliot Howells, who is very good friends with members of the band.
"The last time they performed here they used it as a warm-up before they played V Festival."
"The band has a big following and over 130 tickets were sold, so we had a very busy night."
