[gallery] Thousands of folk fans have flocked to Shrewsbury for the town's annual folk festival.

Musicians including Richard Thompson, Oysters3, Kate Rushby, The Roaring Trowmen and Blowzabella were providing the entertainment at the Greenhous West Mids Showground.
BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year Nancy Kerr and the Sweet Visitor Band were also on the bill.
