Step into Wonderland at Bridgnorth cafe
If you ever fancied falling down the rabbit hole and stepping into Wonderland then now's your chance – thanks to an antiques centre.
The Old Mill Antiques Centre's tea rooms in Bridgnorth said it is offering Mad Hatter's tea parties for anyone keen to celebrate a special occasion.
Tea room staff in costumes drawn from Lewis Carroll's book will serve up a selection of party food to groups of between four and 30 people.
Charlie Powell, the Old Mill tea rooms' manager, said he expects to host events for children and adults.
He added: "We wanted to do something a little different in terms of birthday parties and other events and our Mad Hatter teas will be suitable for both children and adults.
"Party food can be tailored to suit specific requirements, including vegetarian and gluten-free, and the menu includes sandwiches, cakes, sausage rolls and pork pies, plus tea, coffee and soft drinks.
"The tables will be decorated in true Wonderland style – but we promise no dormice will be lurking in the teapots."
The Mad Hatter's tea parties run from any time between 10am and 3.30pm any day of the week, but they must be booked in advance.
