Watch: Thousands attend Telford car show
Thousands of car enthusiasts descended on Telford for a showcase of souped-up models at the town's International Centre.
Ultimate Dubs brought together the top Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda show cars from all over Europe under one roof – and hundreds of visitors brought their own versions to show off on the centre car park.
Crowds congregated along St Quentin Gate to watch the cars coming in and out, with converted exhausts making a wall of noise in the town centre.
Organiser Dean Bergeson said: "We were once again really pleased with how many people turned out – and Telford, with its central location, is a great venue."
The owners of the cars on display were competing to take home one of more than 50 "Ultimate Trophies".
There was a great mix – with an old-fashioned VW Camper Van sitting next to a top-of-the-range Porsche. Others had been converted in a number of amazing ways – with one camper van opening up at the back to reveal its own sound system and bar.
Sam Johnson, 19, from Dawley, said: "It's been a great day.
"If you like your cars you can't really go wrong, there is so much to see."
There was also entertainment throughout the day yesterday on the main stage in the venue, where the trophies were also handed out at the end.
