Pictures: Morris dancers' colourful arrival at Bishop's Castle
About 80 Morris dancers from the region transformed part of Bishop's Castle into riot of colour and dance.
They gathered by the Three Tuns Inn in Bishop's Castle for a rare get-together.
Groups which took part in the event on Saturday included Shropshire Bedlams, Martha Rhoden's Tuppenny Dish, Leominster Morris and the Ironmen Severn Gilders Morris.
A spokesman for Bishop's Castle-based Shropshire Bedlams said: "It was a meeting of local Morris dancers.
"There were seven groups and we had about 80 dancers in total. It was a one-off event. We meet up separately but don't meet up together very often.
"There was one man and his dog there. We didn't publicise it at all and it was not held in aid of anything.
"Afterwards we had a private party before everyone went home."
