Celebrities line up for charity football match in Oswestry
Former football stars and famous faces from the small screen came together for a one-off charity match in Shropshire.
Actors from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks joined forces with famous faces from shows like I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and professional footballers to raise money for charity. Players in the match included Danny Miller, who plays Aaron in Emmerdale, footballer David Dunn, and Anthony Quinlan from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
His family received support from the specialist neonatal team at Hope House Children's Hospice. It was the second match of its kind held in Oswestry and cash raised will be shared by the charities.
Organiser Graeme Sutton said: "We have raised £3,242. We had a good few hundred people there, so we're very happy."
This year's winners were Zack's team, who won 7-0, which Mr Sutton said was a surprise result as they were beaten 5-0 last year.
He said: "They're going to come back next year for a decider.
