Meadowdale Nurseries to run pumpkin carving with Peppa Pig
A garden centre will run two pumpkin carving events this year, with a special guest appearance from Peppa Pig.

After a successful pumpkin crop last year, Meadowdale Nurseries decided to double the fun this year by adding another day.
Families will be able to carve their own pumpkins from 11am on October 25 and 26 with a special appearance by Peppa Pig on October 26. Visitors to the nurseries will also be able to pick their own pumpkins from October 22.
John Anderson, co-owner of the nurseries, said: "We have been growing plants for the last 27 years, but last year was our first attempt at growing pumpkins.
"We weren't sure if visitors would be interested in pick your own pumpkins but we had a tremendous response. We were also delighted by the feedback we had from the pumpkin carving event and as it was so busy, we decided to extend it to a two-day event."
A charge of £6 per child will be taken to cover costs and to allow for a donation to the nurseries' chosen charity, Severn Hospice.
Visiting Peppa Pig, without the pumpkin carving, is free. For more details, call 01952 502470 or visit meadowdale-nurseries.co.uk.
