Author Joan Barlow to meet fans at Wellington Festival

A 95-year-old author will meet readers as part of a festival.

Joan Barlow, of Wellington, has written four books which she now reads to fellow residents of Farcroft Residential Home in a weekly book club.

She will be part of a Meet the Authors event taking place at Wellington Library on October 22.

It will run from 10am to 4pm as part of Wellington Festival.

Joan will be available to talk about her books, including Village Green, which will be on sale.

Joan, who also used to work on the county's Talking Newspaper, will be joined by fellow authors including Simon Whaley, Julie Phillips, Diane Perry, Phyllis Blakemore, Mollie Bolt, Christopher Smith and Christopher Owen.
