Cats, rats, pirates and sultans are preparing to descend on Tenbury Wells as the Regal gets ready to present its third year of festive shows.

This year there will be a production of Dick Whittington and his Cat, following the success of last year's Jack and the Beanstalk.

Written and directed by Ben Crocker, it promises fun, laughter, thrills, spills and magic. Chris Davis, back for his third year as Dame, will also be in-character as Sarah the Cook.

He said: "The Tenbury panto gets bigger each year. There will be loads of side splitting comedy, wonderful costumes, beautiful scenery and lots of special effects, together with a wonderful cast of actors mostly from London."

Dick Whittington and his Cat will run from December 19 to 31, with matinees at 2pm and evenings shows at 6.30pm. Bookings are now open, online at www.regaltenbury.co.uk or by calling 01584 811442.
