Top pianist lined up for Birmingham Symphony Hall

Music by Brahms, Dvorak and Sibelius will feature at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Wednesday when one of the world's most talented pianists features.

Benjamin Grosvenor will play Dvorak: Three Slavonic Dances, Brahams: Piano Concerto 1 and Sibelius: Symphony No 5, with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

The Times has praised Grosvenor's talent and described him as a must-see performer. It said: "Benjamin Grosvenor may well be the most remarkable young pianist of our time."

The CBSO are thrilled to team him up with Birmingham's rising star Alpesh Chauhan in Brahms' torrential First Piano Concerto.
