Bike buffs revving up for event's 26th year

Bike fans are getting their motors running for a celebration of the motorcycle that is now more than a quarter of a century old.

The 26th Shropshire Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Show and Autojumble will be held on March 19 at the village hall in Wistanstow, near Craven Arms, from 10.30am.

Guest of honour will be hero of British motorcycle racing, Peter Williams.

The show in the tiny Shropshire village usually attracts attracts about 1,500 visitors, who come to view the vast collection of bikes on display, together with autojumble stalls. Entry is £3 and proceeds go to Wistanstow Primary School.
