The singer will be performing this Sunday at The New Inn, Newport, from 8pm.

Abi got her first big break when she submitted a song to the Channel 4 soap in the hopes of being featured, only to be offered the role of musical character Liberty Savage.

She stayed with the soap on and off from her first appearance in 2010 before leaving in 2013.

Born and raised in Birmingham into a musical family, Abi's musical background reaches back into her early teens where she would perform in her parent's band. Most recently she appeared on The Voice performing Girl Crush by Little Big Town.

She appeared on the ITV talent show in the last of the blind auditions, as one of the final few trying to impress coaches Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale.

During her appearance in Newport, Abi will perform songs from her repertoire of songs that span across genres including folk, country, pop.
