The production team on the hit ITV series will be at Ye Old Vaults pub in Church Street, Oswestry, for an open mic night, on Tuesday from 7.30pm.

As part of the show's quest to find unique singing talent for next year's series, their talent scouts are visiting open mic nights around the country.

The show, which this year features judges Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale, is on the lookout for soloists and duos, with all musical styles welcome.

Acts will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Anyone who applies for the show must be 16 years of age on or before October 1.
