Blackadder star Sir Tony Robinson to give talk on new autobiography in Oswestry
He's known to millions as Baldrick in Blackadder but now Sir Tony Robinson is coming to Shropshire to talk about his new autobiography.
The actor, TV presenter and author is coming to Oswestry on June 29 to talk about his book 'No Cunning Plan'.
The event is being held at The Marches School, and will offer an insight into his illustrious career which spans more than 50 years, including his time as a presenter on Channel 4's archaeology programme Time Team.
It includes a number of high-profile encounters including being bullied by Steve Marriott, failing to impress Liza Minnelli, as well as being pushed into a stinking London dock by John Wayne.
The event is the latest to be organised by Oswestry's independent bookshop Booka.
The talk starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the talk cost £14, and include a signed copy of 'No Cunning Plan', with tickets for couples priced at £20 to admit two and one signed copy, and they can be purchased from Booka Bookshop or via www.eventbrite.co.uk
