The three-day Cholmondeley Power and Speed (CPAS) event is usually held near Whitchurch in the summer.

But organisers have revealed the event will not take place in 2017.

A statement on the event's website states: "Cholmondeley Power and Speed is not being staged in 2017 whilst plans are made for the long term shape of the event.

"We hope to see you in 2018."

The event regularly attracts thousands of visitors eager to see a range of high-performance machines from race cars and helicopters to hovercrafts and powerboats.
