Telford youngster Meesha dances with Justin Bieber on stage - with videos
An eight-year-old girl from Telford took to the stage with Justin Bieber in front of 70,000 people - a feat most aspiring dancers can only dream of.
Meesha Garbett, from Doseley, was chosen from thousands of dancers around the world in a competition on YouTube.
She joined the singer on his Purpose Tour in Hyde Park on Sunday evening and performed during the second half of the show.
The Coalbrookdale & Ironbridge Primary School was taught the winning dance routine by dance teacher Dee Spencer from Full Out Dance School.
The youngster appeared on stage alongside five other children when the song Children was playing.
She then danced at the front of the stage just steps behind Bieber performing a dance routine with him and the other children, before the star gave each child a fist bump and crouched down to ask each of them their names and got the crowd cheering for each in turn.
When he asked Meesha what her name was he said to the audience "Give it up for Meesha", which was met with screams and cheers from the tens of thousands of onlookers.
Bieber than gave Meesha a hug which prompted more screaming from fans.
He asked his fans to cheer for the dancers one last time as they left the stage before asking Meesha to take his microphone off-stage with her.
Meesha's father, Keith Garbett, said he had tears in his eyes as he watched his daughter perform.
He said: "I am extremely proud, I had tears in my eyes, on the video I recorded you can hear me shout 'That’s my baby'.
"It makes me well up every time I am even thinking about it.
"Lots of our friends who have seen the video have said that made them cry too, me shouting that."
Meesha spent the afternoon preparing for the show and then walked on stage in the second half of the show dressed in a brightly coloured tracksuit.
Mr Garbett said he waited more than four hours with Justin Bieber fans to keep his place at the front of the stage to watch his daughter perform, while his wife Michelle was in the VIP area with Meesha waiting to go on stage.
Mr Garbett added that Meesha was very nervous about performing in front of the huge crowd.
He said: "Meesha was shaking like a leaf before and after the performance. Dancing in front of 70,000 must be a bit intimidating.
"She had random members of the public taking pictures of her, so was like a celebrity for the day.
"There were girls screaming at her, asking things like, what does he smell like. She has some very jealous friends indeed.
"She was recently in a music video for Lady Leshurr which has had 1.9 million Youtube hits, and is the current BDO advanced eight and under Street Dance Champion. She's aiming for the World championships in August next."
Meesha is no stranger to dancing with the stars as she has already appeared as a dancer with Urban pop artist Lady Leshur in her latest video The Juice, where the talented youngster was again picked from thousands of hopeful dancers.
Meesha has spent years dedicating all of her free time to dancing.
She started from the age of three with ballet, tap and modern at Gaston Payne, moving into Street Dance with Street Dance Telford where Meesha was part of a crew called Bandits. She has been given multiple titles and hundreds of medals because of her solo work.
Strictly Dance Fever and MTV Shakedown star Hollie Robertson, from Shropshire, has now taken Meesha under her wing to guide her through her young dance years.
