Alpacas set to be guest stars at Shrewsbury outdoor market
There will be some unusual visitors to Shrewsbury's regular outdoor produce market this weekend.
Titus Alpacas from Baschurch are bringing along five-year-old Enzo and Sirius and Sherwin who are both aged one.
Market organiser Stuart Jones said: "We often try and do something to promote the story behind our products and what better than to see these lovely animals whose hair makes such beautiful and comfortable clothing. We are very grateful to Janet and Paul Ireland from Titus Alpacas of Baschurch for bringing them along."
The market, which is now in its 11th year, attracts producers from all over the county including Butterbelle nut butters, Bonbonniere hand make chocolate, Stokes of Ellesmere hand raised pies, Natures Kitchen seasonal vegan food, Coopers Gourmet sausage rolls, Heathers Harvest chutneys and preserves, Mukaase Foods African curries, Shropshire Honey, Berwick Organic Longhorn beef, Chorlton Cheese, Aunty Mos' scotch eggs and many others.
The markets in the Square runs on Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
