UB40, Jason Donovan and more announced for Shrewsbury festival
A day of classic tunes will once again be held in Shropshire.
The Let's Rock 80s music festival will return to Shrewsbury next year, with a line-up of big names from the decade
The West Midlands' own UB40 will perform at the event along with Kids in America songstress Kim Wilde and Ultravox frontman, and one of the men behind Live Aid, Midge Ure.
This year's event is set to take place slightly later in the year than the inaugural event.
The concert will be held at The Quarry park on Saturday, July 14, 2018, with tickets on sale now.
Other acts due to appear include Go West, Australian icon Jason Donovan, Five Star, From The Jam and Imagination.
There will also be appearance by China Crisis and Toyah, who both appeared at Theatre Severn earlier this year on the 80s Invasion Tour.
There is also one other major artist still yet to be announced.
And for fans of 80s children's TV, the show will be hosted by Fun House's Pat Sharp and Dave Benson Phillips, known for presenting Get Your Own Back, among other popular shows.
This years' festival will also feature the Smash Hits Party Live with performances by Hazel Dean, Fuzzbox, Bow Wow Wow’s Annabella, Brother Beyond, Peter Coyle formerly of Lotus Eaters and Agadoo stars Black Lace’s Conga Party.
A crowd of thousands ignored the bad weather forecast to see their childhood heroes and teenage crushes in the flesh at the Let's Rock Shrewsbury retro festival in May.
Held in The Quarry it featuring acts including Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley, ABC, Brother Beyond, Jaki Graham, Clare Grogan and Altered Images and Nick Heyward
Also among the acts was Shrewsbury's very own Carol Decker, playing some of her biggest T'Pau hits.
It was the first time that the event had been help in Shrewsbury after similar festivals had been held in Bristol, Exeter, Leeds, Norwich, Southampton and London.
And people travelled from all over the West Midlands and beyond to enjoy the day of vintage tunes.
