Cholmondeley Power and Speed event near Whitchurch not being held this year
A major annual event that sees more than 40,000 visitors enjoy a range of vehicles showcasing power and speed will not go ahead for the second year running.
The three-day Cholmondeley Power and Speed (CPAS) is usually held near Whitchurch in the summer.
But organisers have revealed the event, which also didn't run last year, will not take place in 2018.
A statement on the event’s website states: “Cholmondeley Power and Speed is not being staged in 2018 whilst plans are made for the long term shape of the event.
"We hope to see you in 2019."
The event regularly attracts thousands of visitors eager to see a range of high-performance machines from race cars and helicopters to hovercrafts and powerboats.
