Thousands flock to Weston Park's Model Air Show - with pictures and video
Thousands of people landed in Shropshire for Weston Park's Model Air Show.
Just a week after the RAF Cosford's show proved a sky high success, 8,000 people turned out to see similar stunts and incredible designs on a smaller scale.
Starting on Friday and taking place across the weekend, enthusiasts from across the world travelled to Weston Park to showcase their planes, helicopters, boats, buggies and truggies.
"The first day went really well," Megan Haddaway, of Weston Park, said.
"It comes to the park every year, and it reaches a national fanbase of model air show enthusiasts. We get people coming from all over the country to come and see them, and we have people on site who travel internationally.
"It's very popular, everyone enjoys the displays."
Megan added: "As it falls on Father's Day, a lot of people come for their family day out," she said.
"We've had a lot of calls from people wanting to check that there's something for everyone. Dads get to see the model planes and mums will look around the garden, then the family will have dinner here as well."
The annual show has a wide appeal, Megan said.
"We get people travelling for miles and miles, and then we find a lot of local people visit because it's something different to do as well," she added.
