TV star Nick Hancock delighted by move to Shrewsbury
TV personality Nick Hancock has spoken of his love for Shrewsbury, after moving to the town.
Speaking in this week's edition of Shropshire Weekly magazine, he says he is settling in happily having moved to the Radbrook area with his wife Shari and children Dolores and Harvey.
Originally from Stoke, Nick has long had an affinity with Shropshire. He had been living in Woore before recently moving to Shropshire's county town.
He is a former pupil of Shrewsbury School, where he has fond memories.
The former presenter of They Think It’s All Over said: “I had a ball there I loved it, but I wouldn’t say I brought into the establishment tract and I tried to have my own views.
"I loved it because I loved my sport and schools like that are good for it. I wouldn’t say I was a textbook public schoolboy but I would be being disingenuous if I said I didn’t have a good time there."
