Who will replace Jamie Laing on Strictly Come Dancing?
Odds have been revealed.
Emily Atack is the frontrunner to replace Jamie Laing on Strictly Come Dancing.
The actress had success in the jungle with I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and could take the place of the Made In Chelsea star in another TV competition.
Gemma Collins and Danny Dyer are also in the running to put on their dancing shoes, as is another Made In Chelsea star.
Laing is unable to take part in the dance show due to an injury, and there has been speculation about who could replace him, though the BBC has not confirmed there will be any replacement at all.
Atack is the bookies’ firm favourite to join the Strictly cast at 9/2, according to BetWay.
Also in the running are fellow Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, and former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Jamie Laing will be gutted that he can’t take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, but as one door closes another one opens and producers may be looking to fill his space.
“Emily Atack was a big hit with the British public on last year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and she’s quickly emerged as the favourite to get a late call-up for Strictly and replace Laing.
“Atack heads the betting on who’ll replace the Made In Chelsea star at 9/2, while ex-rugby turned cage fighter James Haskell could be up for another challenge and is 8/1.
“If producers are sniffing around for another star from west London, then Laing’s Chelsea chum Spencer Matthews could be the one and he is 10/1 to take part.”
Former striker Wright is next at 10/1, followed by TV diva Collins at 21/1.
Star baker Nadiya Hussain is also in the running with odds of 14/1, with EastEnders actor Dyer being touted at 16/1. He shared these odds with fellow outsider Ulrika Jonsson.
