Gearing up for action at Shropshire car event
The British Ironworks Centre is holding an event for people who have a passion about cars - from sports, retro or classic.
The Morning Car Meet takes place at the Ironworks Centre, Oswestry, on February 1 at 9am.
"We are seeking true car lovers, drivers who take pride in meticulously polishing every inch of their vehicle," a spokesperson for the event said.
"This elbow work doesn’t go unnoticed, and it won’t go unrewarded, as we are holding a competition for the squeakiest clean car!
"The winner of the cleanest car competition will win one of our iconic full English breakfasts!"
Visitors are welcome from 9am, and exhibitors at 8:30am.
The driver of the exhibiting vehicle can collect a wristband from the entry desk for free entry and a complimentary car park voucher.
"Going forward, this exciting event will be held bi-monthly on the first Saturday, every other month," a spokesperson added. "It's perfect for those who want to attend regularly throughout the year."
