Thousands of people turned out in the sunshine for the sixth annual carnival in Oakengates.
Walkers, dancers, and a number of colourful floats gathered in Hartshill Park on Saturday for the town's carnival.
Stephen Reynolds, councillor for Oakengates, said the event was "brilliant as ever".
He said: "It went really very well it was brilliant as ever.
"There were quite a lot of floats and walkers, we had a Mexican-themed float, Telford Academy of Performing Arts had a float, as did Cheerforce 10 and members of the Royal British Legion attended.
"It was a wonderful procession and we even had a spitfire going across.
"There were thousands of people there and the weather really helped, we've been really lucky for the last six years every year it has been splendid and it just gets better.
"I'd like to thank everybody that has organised it and done whatever they can do to make it such a success.
"It's been brilliant for Oakengates, and it's brilliant for Telford, it's a wonderful day.
"It's about people working together and making the whole event such a success.
"People come down to see the parade, enjoyed themselves and spent a bit of money in the town too."
