'Quintessentially English' garden day planned for attraction near Market Drayton
Vintage cars, scones with jam and beautiful blooms – it will all be happening at a garden event later this summer.
The 'Quintessentially English Garden Day' will be held at the Dorothy Clive Garden near Market Drayton on June 20, Covid restrictions allowing.
The garden's tearoom will be offering a takeaway service and 'Dorothy’s Picnics' will be served between 12pm and 3.30pm.
A statement said: "Join us as we celebrate everything about the garden. Enjoy the musical entertainment on offer as you take a stroll around the garden.
"Then enjoy a drink, a bite to eat, a Dorothy's Picnic or one of our freshly baked scones with jam and cream whilst relaxing on the tearoom lawn.
"There will also be a vintage car display on the paddock area."
A fee is required to enter but visitors can pay on the gate. Adult entries will cost £9 and children under 17 can go for £2.
