Celebrating the great outdoors at Whittington Castle
It’s the perfect setting for an outdoor show. Historic Whittington Castle will celebrate all things outdoors over the bank holiday, from survival techniques to willow weaving.
The Shropshire Outdoor Show will be held on May 28 and 29, and will include an evening of outdoor entertainment.
Organiser Michael May said traders taking part are looking forward to being at an event again.
He is a trustee of Whittington Castle and says it is an ideal venue.
“A childhood filled with tents and campfires followed by a stint in the armed forces kickstarted my love of the outdoors,” Mr May said.
Visitors can see falconry displays and demonstrations of outdoor crafts, as well as enjoy food and an outdoor bar.
